We cordially invite you all to the first event organized by our orchestra this year. Just like last year, we will open the year with a chamber concert from Studio S1 of the Czech Radio Ostrava.
This year, under the baton of the chief conductor of Májovák, Filip Urban, we will perform works by W. A. Mozart (Serenade in C minor for wind instruments) and Igor Stravinsky (Octet for wind instruments).
The concert will also feature our saxophone quartet, Altissimo Saxquartet, with works by T. Escaich and G. Goodwin. The whole concert will be accompanied by the moderator Daniela Walová.
The concert is supported by the Statutory City of Karviná, the Landek Foundation and in cooperation with Czech Radio Ostrava.
